ISS Compliance is a dedicated provider of compliance and related risk management services to the financial services industry. The efficiencies of our software have enabled us to turn our attention to other sectors where we are developing protocols for e.g. the demands made by the Occupational Health and Safety Act.
We started trading as a compliance practice in terms of the FAIS act in May 2004 during which time we assisted PricewaterhouseCoopers with the development of an online FAIS license application system and ABSA Vehicle and Asset Finance with a communication and licensing strategy to the retail motor market.
Our company has grown to become one of the largest compliance practices - yet remains uncompromising on our independence and our commitment to providing value in a fair manner. We have developed a particular skill regarding the logistics of implementation of compliance regimes in larger organisations and are fortunate to have as some of our clients, Santam Ltd, Regent Insurance Ltd, Multichoice, Vodacom, MTN, the SA Post Office, Indwe Risk Services, PricewaterhouseCoopers, the JD Group and Sandown Motor Holdings.
*Our company meets every BEE criterium fully in that 75% of the board are female and 50 % of the board is black. More than 70% of the shareholding in the company is in female hands and almost 40% have black persons as beneficiaries. 80% of the staff are black and the corresponding percentage of those in senior management positions is 50% with 70% female.
